The Pet Station Country Club (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy applies to personal information collected through thepetstationinc.com (the “Site”) and all associated forms, chat tools, and online scheduling features. It explains what we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices available to you.

This policy does not apply to employment applicants, residents under a separate residency agreement, or information collected solely through offline channels.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you contact us, complete a form, schedule a tour, or request information, you may provide:

• Identifiers such as name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.

• Details about yourself or a loved one relevant to senior living placement.

• Contents of your message or inquiry.

• Financial or insurance information if you request pricing or eligibility information.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect technical and usage data, including:

• Device type, operating system, and browser.

• IP address and approximate geographic location (city/region level).

• Pages viewed, time spent, links clicked, and referring URLs.

• Cookie identifiers and similar tracking signals (see Section 5).

Note: Automatic collection occurs through cookies, pixels, and analytics tags. We describe each active technology in Section 5. No automatic collection produces precise geolocation (GPS-level) without your express consent.

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from:

• Referral partners or placement services if they connect you to us.

• Advertising platforms (such as Google or Meta) that pass back aggregate audience or conversion data after you interact with our ads.

• Data append or verification providers we use to keep contact information current.

We do not purchase lists of personal information for direct marketing.

We may collect information about health conditions or care needs when you volunteer it in an inquiry. We use that information only to respond to your request and do not use it for advertising or profiling. California residents have additional rights over sensitive personal information under CPRA; see Section 7.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to inquiries, schedule tours, and provide the information or services you request.

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services.

• To send marketing communications about our communities and offerings, only where you have opted in or where applicable law permits.

• To measure advertising effectiveness and Site performance through analytics.

• To detect and prevent fraud or security incidents.

• To comply with our legal obligations.

We do not use personal information for fully automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human review.

For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we process personal information under one or more of the following bases:

6. How we share your information

We share personal information only as described below:

• Service providers: companies that perform functions on our behalf (web hosting, email delivery, CRM, analytics) under contracts that restrict their use of personal information to the services they provide.

• Advertising and measurement partners: platforms such as Google and Meta receive hashed or aggregated data to serve and measure advertising where you have consented or not opted out. See Section 5 to manage these preferences.

• Referral partners: if you were referred to us, we may confirm your inquiry status to the referring organization.

• Legal and safety disclosures: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of The Pet Station Country Club or others.

• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do share personal information with advertising partners in ways that may constitute “sharing” under CCPA/CPRA. California residents may opt out using the link in Section 7.

7. Your privacy rights

Rights available to all visitors

Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:

• Confirm whether we process your personal information and provide a copy.

• Correct inaccurate personal information.

• Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal retention requirements.

• Receive a portable copy of information you provided to us.

• Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale or sharing of personal information, and profiling for significant decisions.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR)

In addition to the above, you may withdraw consent at any time, object to or restrict certain processing based on legitimate interests, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO at ico.org.uk).

California (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the rights above plus the right to limit use of sensitive personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any right. Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the Site footer to opt out of sale and sharing.

California residents may also request disclosure of third parties to whom personal information was shared for direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year (California Civil Code Section 1798.83 / “Shine the Light” law). Submit such requests to the contact information in Section 11.

Other U.S. states

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Kentucky, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have substantially the same rights listed above. If we deny your request, you may appeal within 45 days by contacting us as described in Section 11 and noting that you are appealing a denied request. We will respond to appeals within the time required by applicable law.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We recognize Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser as a valid opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information on that device. This applies regardless of your state of residence.

How to exercise your rights

Submit requests by email or postal mail using the contact information in Section 11. We will verify your identity before responding and reply within 45 days (or the shorter period required by applicable law). You may designate an authorized agent where permitted by law.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.

When personal information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

9. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS) and access controls limiting who can view personal information. No security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable law.

10. International data transfers

The Pet Station Country Club is based in the United States. If you visit the Site from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, your personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which does not have the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.

Where such transfers occur, we use appropriate safeguards, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, and where applicable, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA). 11. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 for EEA/UK visitors), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us using the information below and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top and, for material changes, provide notice as required by applicable law (which may include a banner on the Site or direct notification). We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
